Ranch Elementary School provides inspiring education in San Tan Valley, Arizona. We are located 30 minutes south of the metropolitan Phoenix area. Our beautiful new campus features world-class educational resources for our children and our community. As we enter the last full month of school, I marvel at how quickly this school year has passed. Time does fly when you are having fun! We have had another successful school year and I am grateful to everyone for your support of our Professional Learning Community!

This is the time of the year that I get to boast about the goals that have been achieved at Ranch Elementary:

• Accelerated Reading Goal, 8000 points – Current standing 8667 points
• Attendance Goal, 95% - Current standing – 95%
• Parent Teacher Conference Attendance Goal, 80% - Current standing 1st Q 85% and 3rd Q 86%
• DIBELS, Stanford 10, and AIMS – Grade level goals established, waiting for results

Our goals for the 2012 – 2013 school year will continue to focus on the Professional Learning Communities "Four Big Ideas!"

1. What is it we want our students to learn?
2. How will we know if each student has learned it?
3. How will we respond when a student experiences difficulty in learning?
4. How will we extend and enrich the learning for students who have demonstrated proficiency?
